THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Chapter 9-600 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

CHAPTER 9-600. SERVICE AND OTHER BUSINESSES

§ 9-601. Garages, Parking Lots, Sales Lots and Sales Showrooms.

(2) Public Garages.

* * *

(10) Required Parking Spaces for Motorcycles or Motor-driven Cycles.

Each Public Parking Lot or Public Garage which permits self-parking shall provide at least one parking space for motorcycles and/or motor-driven cycles for every 25 parking spaces provided for motor vehicles.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect six months after it becomes law.
