Full Bill

WHEREAS, Community College of Philadelphia's cross country track teams have enjoyed great success; and

WHEREAS, The men's and women's cross country track teams won the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference and the Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Association championships for the 2009-2010 season; and

WHEREAS, Both teams, in their pursuit of excellence, went undefeated for the second consecutive year, and the Lady Colonials celebrate their third straight Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Association championship and second straight Runner of the Year honors; and

WHEREAS, The coaching staff has won the Coach of the Year Award for the fifth year in a row; and

WHEREAS, The City of Philadelphia is proud of the outstanding efforts of the coaches and student athletes; now therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That the Community College of Philadelphia Student Athletes and Coaches be recognized their for Superior Achievements in Intercollegiate Sports.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That an Engrossed copy of this resolution be presented to Community College of Philadelphia in recognition of its Athletes and Coaches outstanding achievements.
