Full Bill

WHEREAS

, Mayor Michael A. Nutter nominated and Council confirmed Kenya Mann, Esq., as a member of the Philadelphia Board of Ethics on February 4, 2008, to serve the remaining portion of a term ending in November 2008; and

WHEREAS

, Ms. Mann has continued to serve by operation of law as a member of the Board of Ethics until the present time; and

WHEREAS

, Mayor Michael A. Nutter has nominated Kenya Mann, Esq., for appointment as a member of the Philadelphia Board of Ethics, to serve for a full five-year term to end in November 2013; and

WHEREAS

, Section 3-806 of the Charter requires the advice and consent of a majority of all members of the Council for the appointment of members of the Board of Ethics;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA,

That Council hereby consents to and confirms the appointment of Kenya Mann, Esq., as a member of the Board of Ethics, to serve in the term ending November 16, 2013.
