THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Section 20-304 of The Philadelphia Code is amended to read as follows:

§ 20-304. Compensation for Members of Boards, Commissions, Committees and Councils.

(7) Board of Revision of Taxes. [Each member of the Board of Revision of Taxes shall receive an annual salary of seventy thousand ($70,000) dollars.] The Secretary

of the Board of Revision of Taxes

shall receive an annual salary of [seventy two thousand ($72,000)]

forty-five thousand

dollars

($45,000)

. The Chairman of the Board of Revision of Taxes shall receive an annual salary of [seventy five thousand ($75,000)]

fifty thousand

dollars

($50,000)

.

Each remaining member of the Board shall receive one hundred and fifty dollars ($150) as compensation for each day the member attends a Board meeting or hearing or both, or such higher amount as required by law, but in no case more than forty-thousand dollars ($40,000) per year.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately.
