Full Bill

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Public Property on behalf of the City of Philadelphia is hereby authorized to execute and deliver a deed conveying fee simple title to parcels of land with any improvements thereon, located at 1522 Parrish Street and 1524 Parrish Street, and as more specifically described in Exhibit “A,” to the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development, for further conveyance at fair market value.

SECTION 2. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interests of the City and to carry out the purposes of this Ordinance.

SECTION 3. Net proceeds from the sale of these properties shall be deposited in the City's General Fund.

Exhibit "A"

Description of Property

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground with the buildings and improvements thereon erected.

SITUATE in the 15th Ward of the City of Philadelphia and described according to a survey and plan thereof made by Fred J. Kuback, Surveyor and Regulator of the 3rd Survey District dated June 20, 1974 as follows, to wit;

BEGINNING at a point on the South side of Parrish Street (50 feet wide) 175 feet 1¼ inches Eastwardly from the Easterly side of 16th Street (50 feet wide) and extending from that point Eastwardly along the said Parrish Street 40 feet to a point, thence extending Southwardly at right angles to said Parrish Street 96 feet 7 inches to an angle; Thence extending Southwestwardly along a line at right angles to Ridge Avenue 41 feet 11 inches to a point (said point being 54 feet 8 inches Northeastwardly from the Northeasterly side of Ridge Avenue), thence extending Northwestwardly along a line parallel with Ridge Avenue 40 feet to a point, thence extending Northeastwardly at right angles to the said Ridge Avenue 27 feet 6 inches to an angle, thence extending Northwardly at right angles to Parrish Street 82 feet 2 inches to a point on the South side of Parrish Street, being the point and place of beginning.

Being No. 1522-1524 Parrish Street.
