THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Section 9-205 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

§9-205. Sidewalk Sales.

(8) Prohibited Conduct. No vendor or person shall:

(p) exhibit, display, offer for sale or sell any goods, wares, or merchandise or place or allow any stand to remain on the sidewalks of the following streets or any other location which the Council shall from time to time ordain:

( ) The south side of Market Street between 48th Street and 49th Street except under the following terms and conditions:

(a) vendors shall not vend within thirty (30) feet of another sidewalk vendor location;

(b) vendors shall not vend on any portion of a sidewalk within thirty (30) feet of any building entrance;

(c) vendors shall not vend more than eighteen (18) inches from the curb line;

SECTION 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon becoming law.
