THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Section 11-505 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

§11-505. Sidewalk Paving and Other Improvements by Property Owners.

Whenever replacement, repair, reconstruction or construction of a sidewalk and/or curb is undertaken for the purpose of providing access to handicapped or disabled persons, the materials used shall be substantially the same in appearance as the immediately adjacent sidewalk and/or curb.
