Authorizing the revision of lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 278 by closing to vehicular traffic a portion of Unruh Avenue extending from a point approximately one-thousand seventy-seven feet southeast of Wissinoming Street southeastwardly to the Pierhead Line of the Delaware River, under certain terms and conditions.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
Pursuant to Section 11-404 of The Philadelphia Code, the Board of Surveyors of the Department of Streets is hereby authorized to revise the lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 278 by closing to vehicular traffic a portion of Unruh Avenue extending from a point approximately oneseventyseven feet southeast of Wissinoming Street southeastwardly to the Pierhead Line of the Delaware River by establishing and placing on the City Plan a curbline extending across the cartway of said Unruh Avenue at the said closing point.
SECTION 2.
Confirmation of the City Plan action authorized herein shall not affect the status of Unruh Avenue as a public right-of-way and will not vacate or extinguish any rights of the public or the City in the portion of Unruh Avenue being closed other than use or access by vehicular traffic.
