WHEREAS, Zarifa Roberson is a person with a disabilities and truly passion about the lifestyle in the Disability Community.

WHEREAS, I.D.E.A.L. Magazine has highlighted amazing people who have contributed work in the Disability Community.

WHEREAS, I.D.E.A.L. Magazine will continue to empower the Disability Community.

WHEREAS, I.D.E.A.L. Magazine has received the Media Award 2010 through the Maryland Division Of Rehabilitation Services and the Outstanding Work in the Disability Community 2011 Award presented by the Mayor Of Baltimore - Stephanie Rawlings Blake.

WHEREAS, Zarifa Roberson has appeared on multiple media outlets in Philadelphia, PA, Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC.

WHEREAS, Zarifa Roberson has kicked off the 1st Social Networking Activities for Professionals with Disabilities in Washington, DC on July 21, 2011.

WHEREAS, Starting in the Fall 2011 Zarifa Roberson will be doing magazine signing on college campuses.

WHEREAS, Zarifa Roberson has made many appearances speaking about People with Disabilities at various events.

WHEREAS, I.D.E.A.L. Magazine will become the #1 magazine for People with Disabilities throughout the world.

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That City Council Hereby Recognize, Honor, And Celebrate Zarifa Roberson - For her innovative and urban style creation of I.D.E.A.L. Magazine which is geared for young people with disabilities.

FURTHER RESOLVED, That an Engrossed copy of this resolution be presented to Zarifa Roberson, CEO, Publisher and Founder of I.D.E.A.L. Magazine as further evidencing the sincere admiration and gratitude of this legislative body.
