Amending Section 12-1130 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Vehicle Seizures," by requiring refunds and waivers of towing and storage fees, all under certain terms and conditions.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Title 12 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

§ 12-1130. Vehicle Seizures.

Any person found not guilty of violating the provisions 75 Pa. C.S. § 1301, 75 Pa. C.S. § 1332, 75 Pa. C.S. § 1501, or 75 Pa. C.S. § 1786, shall receive a refund or waiver of all storage and towing fees from the appropriate agency. This policy shall be conspicuously posted at the website and storage facility and provided in writing to the motorist at the scene of the incident.
