Full Bill

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Public Property on behalf of the City of Philadelphia is hereby authorized to convey to the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development (“PAID”), a parcel or parcels generally situate at 1236 and 1238 Crease Street, substantially as described in Exhibit “A,” attached hereto, for further conveyance, under certain terms and conditions.

SECTION 2. Conveyance of this Property to PAID shall be conditioned upon agreement by PAID to remit to the City, for deposit in the General Fund, the net proceeds from the sale of the Property by PAID.

SECTION 3. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate the transaction authorized by this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interests of the City and to carry out the purposes of this Ordinance.

Exhibit "A"

1236 CREASE STREET

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground with the Buildings and improvements thereon erected DESCRIBED according to a Survey thereof made by A. Zane Hoffman, Esq., Surveyor and Regulator of the Sixth Survey District on the 6th day of June, A.D. 1921, as follow, to wit:-

BEGINNING on the Southwest side of Crease Street (Forty-three feet wide) at the distance of One hundred and six feet Southeastward from the Southeast side of Thompson Street (Fifty feet wide) in the Eighteenth Ward of the City of Phila.

CONTAINING in front or breadth on the said Crease Street Eighteen feet and extending in length or depth Southwestward between lines parallel with the said Thompson Street One hundred and fifty-seven feet and seven eighths of an inch on the Northwest line thereof and One hundred and fifty-six feet three inches on the Southeast line thereof to a point in the Northeast side of Day Street (Forty feet wide) and CONTAINING in breadth on the rear end thereof along the said Day Street Seventeen feet eleven and seven-eighths inches.

BEING No. 1236 Crease and 1237 Day St.

1238 CREASE STREET

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground with the Buildings and Improvements thereon erected.

BEGINNING at a point on the Southwesterly side of Crease Street at the distance of Eighty-seven feet eight inches Southeastwardly from the Southeasterly side of Thompson Street in the Eighteenth Ward of the City of Phila.; thence extending Southwestwardly on a line parallel with the said Thompson Street One hundred feet to a point, thence extending Southeastwardly on a line parallel with the said Crease Street Four inches to a point, thence extending Southwestwardly on a line parallel with the said Thompson Street Fifty-seven feet ten and three-quarters inches to a point on the Northeasterly side of Day Street and thence extending Southeastwardly along the Northeasterly side of said Day Street Eighteen feet to a point, thence extending Northeastwardly on a line parallel with the said Thompson Street One hundred and fifty-seven feet and seven-eighths of an inch to a point on the Southwesterly side of the said Crease Street, and thence extending Northwestwardly along the Southwesterly side of the said Crease Street Eighteen feet four inches to a point the place of beginning.

BEING No. 1238 Crease St. and 1239 Day Street.
