Title

Amending Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Zoning and Planning,” by amending Chapter 14-300, entitled “Administration and Procedures,” by providing additional requirements regarding notice, all under certain terms and conditions.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Chapter 14-300 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

CHAPTER 14-300. ADMINISTRATION AND PROCEDURES

§ 14-303. Common Procedures and Requirements.

(15) Appeals.

(a) Appeals to the Zoning Board of Adjustment

(.10) No special exception, variance, or Zoning Board approval shall be granted unless the applicant has provided sworn written testimony, under penalty of perjury, that the applicant has complied with the notice provisions of § 14-303(12)(c) and § 14-303(13)(a)(.1). The applicant may attach any supporting documentation as exhibits to the sworn written testimony.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall become effective thirty days after it becomes law.
