Full Bill

WHEREAS, The National Small Business Weekend Organization helps to promote the idea of purchasing locally by urging people to shop small businesses on the first weekend of every month; and

WHEREAS, Small businesses employ 60 million Americans who live and work in our neighborhoods which in turn helps to maintain the local economy; and

WHEREAS, National Small Business Weekend also hopes to promote the idea of buying local, buy American, and asks businesses to offer more American made products to further strengthen our national economy; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That we recognize National Small Business Weekend for the good work that they do in promoting the buy local, buy American campaign.
