Amending Title 9 of The Philadelphia Code, by amending Section 9-212 relating to newsstands by prohibiting newsstands in the area bounded by Spring Garden Street, Broad Street, Callowhill Street, and 16th Street; all under certain terms and conditions.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Title 9 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

TITLE 9. REGULATION OF BUSINESSES, TRADES AND PROFESSIONS.

(4) Location of Newsstands.

(e) There shall be no newsstand in the following locations:

(.10) The area bounded by the north side of Spring Garden Street, the south side of Callowhill Street, the east side of Broad Street, and the west side of 16th Street. Any newsstand licensed to operate within this area prior the enactment of this provision shall be exempt;
