THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Title 4 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

FIRE AND LIFE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

SECTION PM-607.0 SOLAR PANEL REGISTRATION

PM-607.1. No person shall maintain or install a solar panel on the roof of any property without registering such installation with the Fire Department, in such manner as may be prescribed by the Fire Department.

SECTION 2. Effective January 1, 2015, Title 4 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
