WHEREAS, The City of Philadelphia (the "City") authorized in an Ordinance approved on September 16, 1994 (Bill No. 877) the organization of a nonprofit corporation to be known as The Philadelphia Recreation Fund, now known as the Philadelphia Activities Fund, for the purpose of "administering a Recreation Assistance Program as set forth in Exhibit 'A' and the guidelines promulgated thereunder"; and
WHEREAS, Said Exhibit "A" limited the amount that any entity was eligible to receive from the Fund in any fiscal year to $5,000; and
WHEREAS, Council increased that maximum to $6,500 by enacting an Ordinance (Bill No. 030300), approved July 21, 2003, amending Exhibit "A" of Bill No. 877; and
WHEREAS, Council now desires to increase that maximum limit to $7,500; now, therefore
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
Recreation Assistance Program

(d) Funding Limitations: Funding decisions shall be based on need and shall be provided for specific activities or purchases. Fund applicants shall be required to submit a written budget. No entity may receive more than [$6,500]
