Approving a further amendment to the amended and restated redevelopment contract between the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority and the Corporation of the Presiding Bishop of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Redeveloper, for a portion of the Franklin Town Project, identified by house number and street address as 1601 Vine street, to allow revised concept drawings as the plans by which the property will be redeveloped.

WHEREAS, City Council passed resolution number 110222 (hereinafter “Council Resolution No. 110222”) on March 24, 2011, which approved the amended and restated redevelopment contract (hereinafter “Redevelopment Contract”) between the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority (hereinafter “Redevelopment Authority”) and the Corporation of the Presiding Bishop of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (hereinafter “Redeveloper”) for the Redeveloper to redevelop a portion of the Franklin Town Project, identified by house number and street address as 1601 Vine street (the “Property”); and

WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Contract as approved by Council Resolution No. 110222 allows Redeveloper to submit revised concept drawings (hereinafter “Revised Concept Drawings”) for approval by the Redevelopment Authority and City Council; and

WHEREAS, The Redeveloper has submitted Revised Concept Drawings which have been approved by the Redevelopment Authority; and

WHEREAS, In accordance with the Redevelopment Contract and Council Resolution No. 110222, the Redevelopment Authority has submitted the Revised Concept Drawings to City Council for approvalaf0 ; and

WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority and the Redeveloper desire to amend the Redevelopment Contract to attach the Revised Concept Drawings as the plans by which the Property will be redeveloped; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That the revised concept drawings (hereinafter “Revised Concept Drawings”) submitted by the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority (hereinafter “Redevelopment Authority”) for the redevelopment of that portion of the Franklin Town Project, as hereinabove more particularly described, are hereby approved. City Council authorizes the Redevelopment Authority to amend its amended and restated redevelopment contract with the Corporation of the Presiding Bishop of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to attach the hereby approved Revised Concept Drawings. This resolution will be supplemental to City Council Resolution No. 110222.
