Requesting the Mayor to return to Council Bill No. 140892, entitled "An Ordinance Amending Chapter 9-3900 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled 'Property Licenses and Owner Accountability,' by reorganizing the provisions of that Chapter into separate provisions for Rental Licenses (and accompanying Certificates of Suitability); Vacant Lot Licenses; Vacant Structure Licenses; and Vacant Waterfront Structure Licenses; and by revising certain requirements for those licenses, including detailing the requirement to designate a Managing Agent for the property; all under certain terms and conditions," for the purpose of reconsideration by the Council of the vote by which said bill passed Council.

WHEREAS, Bill No. 140892 was passed by Council on December 11, 2014, and thereafter presented to the Mayor for his signature; and

WHEREAS, Council now wishes to reconsider the vote by which said bill passed Council; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That Council hereby requests the Mayor to return to it Bill No. 140892, entitled “An Ordinance Amending Chapter 9-3900 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled 'Property Licenses and Owner Accountability,' by reorganizing the provisions of that Chapter into separate provisions for Rental Licenses (and accompanying Certificates of Suitability); Vacant Lot Licenses; Vacant Structure Licenses; and Vacant Waterfront Structure Licenses; and by revising certain requirements for those licenses, including detailing the requirement to designate a Managing Agent for the property; all under certain terms and conditions,” for the purpose of reconsideration by the Council of the vote by which said bill passed Council.
