Full Bill

WHEREAS

, The Cahillites, led by Head Coach Chris McNesby, named AP Coach of the Year in Pennsylvania, finished with a record of 29-2; and

WHEREAS

, The Varsity Basketball Program at Roman Catholic High School finished the season ranked 14 overall by USA today; and

WHEREAS

, The Cahillites defeated Martin Luther King High School to win the State Championship by a score of 62-45 on March 21, 2015; and

WHEREAS

, Based on their past performance it is safe to assume that the Cahillites from Roman Catholic High School Basketball Team will only get better with time; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA

, That we hereby congratulate Roman Catholic High School Boys Basketball Team on winning the 2015 PIAA State AAAA Championship and The District 12 City Title for the AAAA Classification.

FURTHER RESOLVED

, That an Engrossed copy of this resolution be presented to The Roman Catholic High School Boys Basketball Team, further evidencing the sincere sentiments of this legislative body.
