Full Bill

WHEREAS, Michael P. Pasquale, Esquire has personally provided pro bono legal representation to more than 100 members of the Armed Forces and veterans in the Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs with disability pension claims

;

and

WHERAS, All members of the Armed Forces and veterans represented by Mr. Pasquale have been awarded a disability pension and healthcare benefits for themselves and their families; and

WHEREAS, Michael P. Pasquale, Esquire served as the Chairman of the New Jersey State Bar Association's Military Law Section from years 2009 to 2011; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Pasquale was also the recipient of the New Jersey State Bar Association's 2010 Annual Distinguished Legislative Services Award for his work in advancing a bill that revises the New Jersey Family Law Act with respect to military child custody issues; and

WHEREAS, Michael P. Pasquale, Esquire is a member of the McCarter & English's Business and Financial Services Litigation practice group and the firm is supportive of his pro bono service to members of the Armed Forces and veterans; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, THAT THE COUNCIL OF CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, recognizes, honors and commends Michael P. Pasquale, Esquire for his dedication to helping members of the Armed Forces and veterans with service-connected disability claims.

RESOLVED FURTHER, That an Engrossed copy of this resolution be presented to Michael P. Pasquale, Esquire further evidencing the sincere admiration and respect of this legislative body.
