Authorizing transfers in appropriations for Fiscal Year 2016 from the Grants Revenue Fund, the Director of Finance - Provision for Other Grants to the Housing Trust Fund, the Mayor - Office of Housing and Community Development, to expand the availability of the services provided through the "Energy FIT Philly" program, whereby affordable housing is preserved through the coordination of home repair and energy services, under certain terms and conditions.
WHEREAS, the Office of Housing and Community Development has been successfully operating the “Energy FIT Philly” program, whereby affordable housing is preserved through the coordination of home repair and energy services; and
WHEREAS, Council proposes an additional expenditure of $2,000,000 over and above currently authorized expenditures in place prior to the introduction of this Ordinance in order to expand that program; now, therefore
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the following transfers in appropriations for Fiscal Year 2016 from the Grants Revenue Fund to the Housing Trust Fund.
