Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City, to convey to the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development all or part of a parcel commonly known as 2721-2777 Ruth Street, for further conveyance, under certain terms and conditions.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, is authorized to convey to the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development (“PAID”) all or part of a parcel of land commonly known as 2721-2777 Ruth Street, as more particularly identified on the map attached hereto as Exhibit “A,” for further conveyance.

SECTION 2. Conveyance of the property to PAID shall be conditioned upon a commitment by PAID to require an Economic Opportunity Plan in accordance with Section 17-602 of The Philadelphia Code, as amended.

SECTION 3. The City Solicitor is authorized to review and approve all documents necessary to complete the acquisitions authorized by this Ordinance. The City Solicitor is further authorized to include in those documents provisions that the City Solicitor deems necessary and desirable to protect the interests of the City.
