Full Bill

WHEREAS, Theresa Pozzi was born on March 7, 1981 to

Anna and Gus Pozzi and

lived on Kimball Street for over 25 years; and

WHEREAS, Theresa, being a native Philadelphian and a huge history buff, loved the history that surrounded her and her home town and thoroughly enjoyed her job at the Betsy Ross House; and

WHEREAS, Theresa was tragically taken from us far too early as the victim of vehicular homicide by a hit and run driver; and

WHEREAS, Almost a year later the responsible party still has not been captured and no one has paid for this crime; and

WHEREAS, Theresa is sadly missed by her siblings Carol Ann, Gus and Maria and nieces Olivia and Hanna and nephew Rocco and also the many friends whose lives she had touched; and

WHEREAS, We want to honor the memory of Theresa and hope that the renaming of Kimball Street will keep her memory alive and will also be a constant reminder to us all of her untimely death and the hope that her family will someday find closure with the arrest of the individual that took her from us far too early; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That Kimball Street between 6th and 7th Streets is also named in honor of Theresa Pozzi.
