To amend the Philadelphia Zoning Maps by changing the zoning designations of certain areas of land located within an area bounded by Henry Avenue, Coulter Street, School House Lane, Wissahickon Avenue, and Lincoln Drive, and certain areas of land located within an area bounded by Henry Avenue, Warden Drive, Calumet Street, Merrick Street, Gypsy Lane, and School House Lane. Further to adopt the Master Plan for Philadelphia University; and approving various construction projects.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 14-106 of The Philadelphia Code, the Philadelphia Zoning Maps are hereby amended by changing the zoning designations of certain areas of land within an area bounded by Lincoln Drive, Wissahickon Avenue, School House Lane, The Oak Road, Midvale Avenue, Cresson Street and Gypsy Lane, from the existing zoning designations indicated on Maps “A1” and “A2” set forth below to the zoning designations indicated on Maps “B1” and “B2” set forth below.

SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 14-304(4) of The Philadelphia Code, the master plan for the

Institutional (Special Purpose) District for Philadelphia University is hereby adopted and various construction projects are approved, as set forth in attached Exhibit “A”, which is on file with the Chief Clerk’s Office, and a copy of which is attached hereto for reference; provided, however, that nothing in this Ordinance or approval is intended to supersede the requirements of Section 14-510 (Wissahickon Watershed Overlay District) or Section 14-704(2) (Steep Slope Protection Ordinance), the requirements of which continue to apply in full.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately.
