Full Bill

WHEREAS, Council confirmed the appointment of Brian J. McCormick as a member of the Philadelphia Board of Ethics, to serve in the remaining portion of a five-year term, to end November 16, 2016; and

WHEREAS, By operation of law, Brian J. McCormick’s term has been extended until November 16, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Mayor James F. Kenney has nominated Brian J. McCormick for re-appointment to serve the remainder of the full five-year term as a member of the Philadelphia Board of Ethics; and

WHEREAS, Section 3-806 of the Charter requires the advice and consent of a majority of all members of the Council for the appointment of members of the Board of Ethics; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That Council hereby consents to and confirms the appointment of Brian J. McCormick as a member of the Board of Ethics, to serve in the term ending November 16, 2021
