Full Bill

WHEREAS, the Public Transportation Law, 74 Pa. C.S. § 1713, provides that appointments of the Mayor to the Board of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (the “Board”) must be approved by Council; and

WHEREAS, The Mayor has proposed the appointment of Michael Carroll to fill the remaining months of a term on the Board ending September 1, 2017; and

WHEREAS, The Mayor has proposed the appointment of Michael Carroll to the Board for the following term, ending September 1, 2022; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That the appointment of Michael Carroll as a member of the Board of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, to serve in the term ending September 1, 2017, is hereby approved.

FURTHER RESOLVED, That the appointment of Michael Carroll as a member of the Board of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, to serve in the term ending September 1, 2022, is hereby approved.
