Full Bill

WHEREAS, The Philadelphia Business Journal has published a top 40 under 40 class since 1991 to award 40 business leaders who have done big things before the age of 40; and

WHEREAS, At no time in the recent history of Philadelphia have the younger generations seemed so excited and committed to building a better region; and

WHEREAS, This is what makes the 40 under 40 one of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s favorite and long-standing traditions; and

WHEREAS, This year alone, the Business Journal received hundreds of nominations for only 40 spots, thus this year’s honorees represent a truly exceptional class of individuals representing Philadelphia’s incredibly diverse and dynamic business environment; and

WHEREAS, Most of Philadelphia’s key industries are represented throughout this year’s 40 under 40 class, including technology, heath care, marketing, real estate, telecommunications, energy, banking, hospitality, law and others; and

WHEREAS, The City of Philadelphia honors and congratulates this year’s honorees and admires the hard work and dedication of these Philadelphia leaders in the many diverse and vital industries that they represent; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, THAT THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, Hereby recognizes, honors and congratulates the 2018 Philadelphia Business Journal’s 40 under 40 Class for their hard work and dedication to excellence in their representation of their respective industries and the City of Philadelphia.
