WHEREAS, Sanjuanita Gonzalez was appointed and confirmed on December 16, 2010, to serve as a member of the Philadelphia Board of Ethics in the remaining portion of a five-year term that ended November 16, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Gonzalez was reappointed and confirmed on November 21, 2013, to serve as a member of the Board for the five-year term that will end on November 16, 2018; and
WHEREAS, Mayor James F. Kenney has nominated Sanjuanita Gonzalez for reappointment for a second full five-year term as a member of the Philadelphia Board of Ethics; and
WHEREAS, Section 3-806 of the Charter requires the advice and consent of a majority of all members of the Council for the appointment of members of the Board of Ethics; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA,
That Council hereby consents to and confirms the reappointment of Sanjuanita Gonzalez as a member of the Board of Ethics, to serve in the term ending November 16, 2023.
