Full Bill

WHEREAS, The Philadelphia Business Journal published its annual 40 Under 40 to award 40 influential Philadelphians who have done big things in their respective businesses before the age of 40; and

WHEREAS, At no time in the recent history of Philadelphia have younger citizens seemed so energized and committed to building a better region; and

WHEREAS, Philadelphia Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 is one of the business community’s favorite traditions; and

WHEREAS, This year, the publication received nearly 400 nominations for only 40 spots and honorees represent a truly exceptional class of Philadelphians engaged in the private, public, and non-profit sectors;

WHEREAS, The 40 Under 40 list is commendable for its honoring of a diverse group of young people all of whom are contributing to our community through their work in industries ranging from healthcare to law to sports and entertainment to small businesses and beyond; and

WHEREAS, The efforts of these honorees drive our economy and make Philly a great place to live; and

WHEREAS, The City of Philadelphia honors and congratulates this year’s honorees and admires the hard work and dedication of these rising stars in the vital areas that they represent; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, THAT THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, Hereby recognizes, honors and congratulates the 2019 Philadelphia Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 for their hard work and dedication to excellence in their representation of their respective

industries.
