Amending Section 12-701 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Designation of Bicycle Lanes," to authorize a bicycle lane on North 2nd Street, from Wood Street to Race Street; and making associated changes to parking regulations within the same limits; all under certain terms and conditions.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Section 12-701 of The Philadelphia Code is amended to read as follows:
§ 12-701. Designation of Bicycle Lanes.

The Department is authorized to designate a bicycle lane upon the following streets and regulate the operation and use of vehicles and bicycles upon such streets in a manner consistent with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) regulations:

(*) North 2nd Street, from Wood Street to Race Street, and the removal of a travel lane on the same portion of North 2nd Street.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect Immediately.
