Honoring and congratulating the Northeast High School Field Hockey team, on their successful 2019 season and conference 10-0 record in the Philadelphia Public League.

WHEREAS, The Northeast High School Field Hockey team is led by Northeast High School’s Physical Education Teacher and Head Coach, Alexa Bell; an

WHEREAS, The Northeast Vikings stood 1st overall in the Philadelphia Public Conference and finished their season with an overall 11-3 record and undefeated 10-0 Philly public record; an

WHEREAS, The Northeast High School Philadelphia Public League championship game against rival Central was played on October 30th, 2019. Northeast won 3-0 with goals by Tatyana Roldan, Lyric Ramsden, and Sophia Carrion; and

WHEREAS, The Vikings Field Hockey team gave back to the community this February by participating in the #playforthecure fundraiser and were able to create and donate $550 worth of Cancer Comfort bags for the Fox Chase Cancer Center; and

WHEREAS, The Northeast High school’s vision statement is, “Our students will become contributing, socially responsible, goal-oriented, and productive members of a global society. Our faculty and staff are a community of lifelong learners who serve as trusted educational resources to the greater Philadelphia area and beyond”; now, therefore, be it
