THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1: Section 12-102(6.1) is added to Title 12 of The Philadelphia Code as follows:

§ 12-102(6.1) Dynamic Parking Pricing. The real-time adjustment of on-street parking pricing dependent on demand and supply.

SECTION 2: Section 12-906.2 is added to Title 12 of The Philadelphia Code as follows:

§ 12-906.2. Experimental Loading Zone Regulations.

(1)

The Department is authorized to establish by regulation, for renewable periods of up to one year, experimental rules for the use of any parking space designated as a “loading zone” in specialized ways, including with systems for payment for priority use and other means useful to facilitate optimal use of such parking spaces.

SECTION 3: Section 12-914(3) is added to Title 12 of The Philadelphia Code as follows:

§ 12-914(3). Dynamic Parking Pricing Regulations.

(1)
