Full Bill
WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Philadelphia is pleased and proud to honor and recognize
Impact Services, housed at 1952 E Allegheny Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19134, for 49 years of utmost community advancements and service to Kensington; and
WHEREAS,
Impact Services
first made their mark in 1974 in Kensington. Impact Services made it their duty to train community members for jobs, re-enter the workforce, and generally build the community. In recent years, housing services have been developed in order to work toward ending homelessness. Impact works with other like-minded partnerships and organizations; and
WHEREAS, Impact Services has built a reputation for
community revitalization while
advancing social equity and economic empowerment by
fighting displacement, promoting safety and stability, and
continuously uplifting all members of the community, including students, families, and business owners; and
WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Philadelphia, Hereby recognizes and honors Impact Services for 49 years of dedicated service to Philadelphia. We extend the sincere respect and admiration of this legislative body and give our sincere thanks for service to the community and throughout the City of Philadelphia; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, THAT THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, Hereby recognizes and honors Impact Services for 49 years of dedicated service to Philadelphia.
FURTHER RESOLVED, That an Engrossed copy of this resolution be presented to Impact Services as a sincere expression of City Council’s appreciation and congratulations!
