WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section VI(2) of the December 29, 1972 Agreement between the City of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Facilities Management Corporation, as amended, two members of the Philadelphia Gas Commission are appointed by City Council to terms of four years; and
WHEREAS, Council's previous appointment to the Gas Commission pursuant to Resolution No. 160254 (adopted April 17, 2016) was for a term expiring January 7, 2020; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That Councilmember Mike Driscoll is hereby appointed to the Philadelphia Gas Commission for a term ending January 1, 2024.
