Full Bill

WHEREAS, John Clark is a dedicated is a graduate of Father Judge High School Class of 2023, where he demonstrated his excellence in academics, athletics, and leadership-serving as a role model for all Philadelphians by following the call to service; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Clark’s leadership and service has compelled him to success, both as a student and a two-sport athlete in indoor track and baseball, leading the Father Judge Baseball team to the Catholic League and City of Philadelphia Championships; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Clark’s excellence comes from his family’s dedication to public service, especially his mother and father who work in the healthcare and law enforcement professions; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Clark’s passion for service to his family, community, and country led him to apply to all five United States Military Service Academies: The United States Military Academy, The United States Naval Academy, The United States Air Force Academy, The United States Coast Guard Academy, and The United States Merchant Marine Academy; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Clark’s passion for flying and airplanes led him to chose the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Clark is an exemplary Philadelphian whose dedication should serve as an example to all those who seek to serve their communities; now therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that is honors John Stephen Clark for his acceptance into all Five Military Academies and congratulates him for choosing to enroll at the United States Air Force Academy where he will serve this County and represent the City of Philadelphia with honor and distinction.

FURTHER RESOLVED, That an Engrossed copy of this resolution be presented to John Stephen Clark and his family.
