Full Bill

WHEREAS, Pursuant to Resolution No. 200064, Councilmember Brian J. O’Neill filed an appeal, on behalf of and as representative of City Council, of the decision of the Zoning Board of Adjustment with respect to 2901 Grant Avenue, docketed in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County at January Term, 2023, No. 03051; and

WHEREAS, The Council had intended by Resolution No. 200064 to authorize Councilmember O’Neill to file an appeal on its behalf; and

WHEREAS, The Council wishes to reaffirm that prior authorization and, further, to ratify Councilmember O’Neill’s authority to file the appeal and any further appeals regarding the decision of the Zoning Board of Adjustment with respect to 2901 Grant Avenue on behalf of and as representative of the Council; and

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That Councilmember Brian J. O’Neill had full authority to file and prosecute, on behalf of and as representative of this Council, the appeal of the decision of the Zoning Board of Adjustment with respect to 2901 Grant Avenue, docketed in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County at January Term, 2023, No. 03051; now, therefore, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, That this Council ratifies all steps taken to date by Councilmember O’Neill on behalf of and as representative of Council with respect to said appeal.

FURTHER RESOLVED, That this Council authorizes Councilmember O’Neill to take all further steps on behalf of and as representative of Council with respect to such appeal as Councilmember O’Neill determines is appropriate for the successful prosecution of such appeal,

including, if necessary, any further appeals.
