Full Bill
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Amendment of certain terms in the Amended and Restated Ordinance. The Amended and Restated Ordinance is hereby amended, as follows:
(a)
The term “Division of Aviation” and all references thereto in the Amended and Restated Ordinance are hereby changed to the “Department of Aviation.”
(b)
The term “Department of Commerce” and all references thereto in the Amended and Restated Ordinance are hereby changed to the “Department of Aviation.”
(c)
The definition of “Division of Aviation” in Section 1.01 of the Amended and Restated Ordinance is hereby replaced with “Department of Aviation” and is hereby amended to read follows:
“Department of Aviation” means the department of the City responsible for the maintenance, improvement, repair and operation of the Airport System and for the construction of additional facilities for the Airport System or any successor division or Department of the City which is charged by law with such responsibility.
(d)
The defined term “Payments-in-Aid of Outside Terminal Area” in Section 1.01 of the Amended and Restated Ordinance is hereby deleted in its entirety.
SECTION 2. Other Elections Under the Amended and Restated Ordinance

The Bond Committee is authorized on behalf of the City, without any further action by City Council, to make any and all additional elections under the Amended and Restated Ordinance as it shall determine to be in the best interest of the City as and when it shall deem such elections to be appropriate.
SECTION 3. Effect of Ordinance

This Ordinance is amendatory and supplementary to the Amended and Restated Ordinance and all sections of the Amended and Restated Ordinance and the Act not inconsistent herewith shall remain effective. All definitions of terms contained in the Amended and Restated Ordinance shall apply to such terms in this Ordinance. No further action of City Council is necessary for this Ordinance to become effective.
SECTION 4. Effective Date

This Ordinance shall take effect immediately; except that the use of the term Division of Aviation contained in Section 13(a) of the Sixteenth Supplemental Ordinance (Bill No. 170308) of the Council of The City of Philadelphia, approved by the Mayor on May 17, 2017 shall become effective in accordance with the provisions of Section 15 of the Sixteenth Supplemental Ordinance (Bill No. 170308).
