Full Bill

WHEREAS, Island Fritay, located at 430 W Chew Avenue, has become a cherished establishment within our community, renowned for its dedication to serving exceptional Haitian Caribbean cuisine with authenticity and passion; and

WHEREAS, Guided by a deep respect for Caribbean culinary traditions, Island Fritay has consistently delivered high-quality dishes that highlight the vibrant flavors and rich cultural heritage of Haiti. Their commitment to using traditional ingredients and preparation methods has earned them a well-deserved reputation for excellence; and

WHEREAS, Island Fritay has made significant contributions to the community by not only providing outstanding dining experiences but also by actively engaging in local events and supporting community initiatives. Their involvement has strengthened community bonds and enriched the cultural landscape of the area; and

WHEREAS, As Island Fritay looks to the future, they remain devoted to enhancing their culinary offerings and expanding their impact within the community. Their ongoing efforts to collaborate with local organizations and support neighborhood causes reflect their steadfast commitment to the betterment of the community; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That it hereby extends its heartfelt congratulations to Island Fritay and its owners. We commend their exceptional service, community involvement, and unwavering commitment to the values that have guided their remarkable journey in the world of Haitian Caribbean cuisine. We celebrate their achievements and look forward to their continued contributions to the community’s cultural and economic vitality.

FURTHER RESOLVED, That an Engrossed copy of this Resolution be presented to Island Fritay and its owners as an expression of the admiration and respect of this legislative body.
