Honoring Officer Jesse Woodhouse for his outstanding service to the 16TH Police District in West Philadelphia on the occasion of his retirement.

WHEREAS, Jesse Woodhouse has served as the Community Relations Officer for the 16TH District since August 21, 2000, demonstrating dedication to his community and his colleagues; and

WHEREAS, Officer Woodhouse has been instrumental in organizing and hosting a variety of community events, including the annual giveaway of bookbags, clothing, swimwear, and coats, which have brought much-needed resources to families within the district; and

WHEREAS, Officer Woodhouse has been an advocate for men’s health initiatives and has facilitated “Real Talk” segments with the Philadelphia School District in the 16TH District, helping foster dialogue and raise awareness about the physical and mental well-being of community members; and

WHEREAS, Officer Woodhouse has also supported events promoting the benefits of exercise and maintaining a healthy mind and body, encouraging individuals to prioritize health and fitness; and

WHEREAS, In addition to his professional achievements, Officer Woodhouse has given his time and energy to his peers, partners, and community, leaving a lasting impact on both his family and the neighborhood he serves; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, THAT THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, Hereby honors Officer Jesse Woodhouse for his outstanding service to the 16TH Police District in West Philadelphia on the occasion of his retirement.

FURTHER RESOLVED, That an Engrossed copy of this Resolution be presented to Officer Jesse Woodhouse as a token of this body’s respect and appreciation.
