WHEREAS, Pursuant to Resolution No. 190629, the Council President is authorized to appoint

seven of the nine members of the Veterans Advisory Commission, subject to the approval of

Council by resolution; and

WHEREAS, The Council President proposes to appoint Angela Dunston, of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, to the Commission; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That the Council

hereby approves the appointment of Angela Dunston to the Veterans Advisory Commission for a five-year term commencing January 1, 2025
