THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Section 12-701 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

TITLE 12. TRAFFIC CODE

CHAPTER 12-700. BICYCLE LANES

§ 12-701. Designation of Bicycle Lanes.

The Department is authorized to designate a bicycle lane upon the following streets and regulate the operation and use of vehicles and bicycles upon such streets in a manner consistent with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) regulations:

Port Royal Avenue, from Ridge Avenue to Henry Avenue, and removal of a parking lane within the same limits.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately.
