Full Bill

WHEREAS, Dd Inge has served the City of Philadelphia with honor, dedication, and professionalism over the course of many years, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues, Councilmembers, and the broader community; and

WHEREAS, Before joining City Council, Dd served with distinction as a clerk at the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, contributing to the effective administration of justice and the smooth operation of court services; and

WHEREAS, From September 2007 through December 2015, Dd served as a school crossing guard, faithfully ensuring the safety and well-being of countless students and families; and

WHEREAS, After joining City Council, Dd quickly became known not only for maintaining Council facilities with excellence and care, but also for the warmth, wisdom, and good humor that she brought into every interaction, becoming a beloved presence throughout the building; and

WHEREAS, A true aficionado and cigar connoisseur, Dd often shared her enthusiasm for cigars with staffers and colleagues, engaging in lively conversation that reflected both her personal passions and her ability to connect meaningfully with others; and

WHEREAS, Dd’s professionalism, attention to detail, and consistent work ethic were always accompanied by her warm spirit, qualities which inspired those around her and greatly contributed to a positive work environment; and

WHEREAS, Beyond her duties, Dd has left a lasting mark on the City Council community, earning the affection of everyone from Councilmembers to interns, who she refers to as her “little chicken wings.”; and

WHEREAS, As Dd enters retirement, she does so with the gratitude of entire institution and the well wishes of all the individuals whose lives she has touched; now, therefore, be it
