WHEREAS, Resolution No. 250586 left out pertinent information regarding the life and legacy of Alphonso Deal; and

WHEREAS, A new Resolution will be introduced today to rename the 1500 block of Girard Avenue as “Alphonso Deal Way”; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That Resolution No. 250586 is repealed in its entirety.
