WHEREAS, Nicole Fisher is a devoted wife and proud mother of three whose life reflects an unwavering commitment to faith, family, and community service; and

WHEREAS, Nicole Fisher has achieved national recognition as a 2024 National Champion and 2025 East Coast Champion in boxing, currently ranked as the #2 female boxer in the nation which is a testament to her discipline, focus, perseverance, and determination; and

WHEREAS, Beyond her personal athletic excellence, Nicole Fisher is the Founder of

Knockout Gun Violence

, a transformative youth mentorship and boxing program designed to empower at-risk youth through structure, determination, and self-respect which helps to demonstrate that true strength is built both inside and outside the ring; and

WHEREAS, Through her tireless work as a mentor, coach, and advocate, Nicole Fisher has directly impacted the lives of countless young people across Philadelphia, guiding them away from violence and toward purpose, while instilling in them the values of discipline, self-worth, and positivity in what they seek to accomplish; and

WHEREAS, In recognition of her steadfast commitment to uplifting youth and women throughout the city, Nicole Fisher was honored with the

2025 Hidden Hero Award

, acknowledging her as a beacon of hope and inspiration for her community; and

WHEREAS, Continuing her dedication to public service, Nicole Fisher currently serves as a Recruit Officer at the Philadelphia Police Academy, furthering her mission of civic leadership, unity, and justice, while preparing to serve her City as both a protector and role model; and

WHEREAS, Nicole Fisher’s journey embodies perseverance, purpose, and impact. She has worked to transform personal struggle into strength, pain into purpose, and demonstrat that faith and hard work can create lasting change; and

WHEREAS, The City of Philadelphia proudly recognizes Nicole Fisher for her extraordinary contributions to anti-violence initiatives, youth empowerment, and her enduring service to our City and its future generations; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Philadelphia hereby honors and recognizes Nicole Fisher for her leadership, mentorship, and tireless efforts to combat gun violence and uplift the lives of Philadelphia’s youth.

FURTHER RESOLVED, That an Engrossed copy of this Resolution be presented to Nicole Fisher as a token of the sincere appreciation and admiration of the City Council of Philadelphia.
