Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property to execute and deliver a deed to the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development conveying fee simple title to a certain tract of City-owned land with buildings and improvements, situated on 5928-30 Germantown Avenue in the 8th Councilmanic District of the City of Philadelphia

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Public Property is hereby authorized to execute and deliver to the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development (PAID) a deed conveying fee simple title to all or a portion of the following described tract of ground for further conveyance at fair market value for further disposition:

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground, situated in the 59th Ward of the City of Philadelphia, described as follows to wit;

BEGINNING

at the point located on the northwesterly side of Haines Street (On City Plan 40' Wide, Legally Open) at the distance of 267.312' southwestwardly from the southwesterly side of Germantown Avenue (On City Plan 60' Wide, Free from Toll); thence continuing along the said northwesterly side of Haines Street S.

the distance of 151.330' to a point; thence extending N. 49°44'17" W. the distance of 167.393' to a point; thence extending N. 41°31'35" E. the distance of 219.455' to a point; thence extending S. 39°38'47" E

the distance of 67.382' to a point on the terminus of the northwesterly side of a certain 12' wide driveway; thence extending N. 45°47'13" E. along the northwesterly side of said 12' wide driveway the distance of 244.643' to a point on the said southwesterly side of Germantown Avenue; thence extending southeastwardly along the said southwesterly side of Germantown Avenue S. 28°54'57" E. the distance of 12.441' to a point; thence extending S. 45°47'13" W. along the southeasterly side of said 12' wide driveway the distance of 293.811' to a point; thence extending S. 47°55'30" E. the distance of 94.151' to a point on the said northwesterly side of Haines Street being the first mentioned point and place of beginning.

SECTION 2. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interest of the City.
