The City Council is allowing its Committee on Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs to hold public hearings to find new members for the Commission on Parks and Recreation. The committee will then recommend nominees to the full Council, which will forward the nominations to the mayor for consideration. This process will help fill open positions on the Commission.

Authorizing Council's Committee on Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs to hold public hearings for applicants seeking nomination to serve on the Commission on Parks and Recreation and further authorizing the Committee to recommend for Council's consideration nominations to be forwarded to the mayor.
