Bill Number 260239 would change the zoning for the property at 5900 Baltimore Avenue where Motivation High School and KIPP West Philadelphia Preparatory Charter School are located, from RSA-5, Residential Single-Family Attached to SP-CIV, Special Purpose – Civic, Educational, and Medical. This limits the potential future use of this property. I question the prudence and potential long-term unintended consequences for rezoning properties owned by the Philadelphia schools in this manner.
