The enacted ordinance amended an earlier authorization to vacate, or remove from public use, Walker Street between Pearson Avenue and a nearby dead end. It extended the deadline for meeting the authorization’s conditions to June 24, 2001; the ordinance also required $200 to be paid into the City Treasury within 60 days after it became law.

Amending Section 2 of an Ordinance (Bill No. 990308), entitled "An Ordinance authorizing the vacating of Walker street, from Pearson avenue to a dead end approximately one hundred eight (108) feet northeast of Pearson avenue, under certain terms and conditions," by extending the period for compliance with the authorization conditions therein.
