The enacted ordinance amends Philadelphia’s zoning code to add tattoo parlors and body piercing shops to the city’s list of regulated uses. It defines those establishments and body piercing, which does not include ear or nail piercing, and takes effect immediately.

Amending Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Zoning and Planning," by amending Section 14-1605, entitled "Regulated Uses," by expanding the list of regulated uses to include tattoo parlors and body piercing shops, as defined, all under certain terms and conditions.
