PASSED
The enacted ordinance grants Conectiv Communications, Inc., and its successors permission to build, operate, maintain, replace, and remove a telecommunications system in specified Philadelphia streets and public rights-of-way, including use of some existing utility facilities with the owners’ consent. The permission is subject to City approvals, permits, an agreement with the City, insurance and fees, and requirements to pay relocation costs and restore streets; it does not authorize Conectiv to provide cable service to Philadelphia subscribers.
